Tailgate Lower Trim

CAUTION: Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

NOTE:

When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
Take care not to scratch the body surface.

Remove the tailgate upper & side trim.
(Refer to Tailgate - "TAILGATE TRIM ")
Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the tailgate handle cover (A).

After loosening the mounting screws and fastener remove the tailgate lower trim (A).

To install, reinstall in reverse order of removal procedure.
Information

Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
