Lower Arm Ball Joint

  1. Remove the front lower arm.

    (Refer to Suspension System - "FRONT LOWER ARM ")

  2. Remove the circlip (A) from the lower arm ball joint.
    NOTE: Do not reuse the circlip.

  3. Remove the ball joint (A) from the lower arm by using a press.
    CAUTION:
    • Apply pressure after set the Ball Joint center accurately.
    • Ware the protection glasses to protect eyes.
    • Make sure there is none of contact between hand or body and operating cylinder load area.

  4. Install the new ball joint (A) by using a press.
    NOTE:
    • Be careful not to damage the lower arm ball joint dust cover when you assemble.
    • Be careful of transforming of the lower arm when the ball joint is installed.

  5. Install the lower arm ball joint circlip.
