Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION:
Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
NOTE:
- When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- When removing the interior trim pieces, use a plastic panel removal tool not to damage the surface.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Once the rear pillar trim is removed, be sure to replace the clips with new ones.
- Remove the luggage side trim.
(Refer to Trunk Trim- "LUGGAGE SIDE TRIM ")
- Remove the rear seat belt lower anchor (A) after loosening the mounting bolt.
Tightening torque:
39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 Kgf.m, 28.9 - 39.8 lb.ft)
- After loosening the mounting bolts, remove the rear pillar trim (A).
Tightening torque:
3.9 - 5.9 N.m (0.4 - 0.6 kgf-m, 2.9 - 4.3 lb.ft, 34.7 - 52.1 lb.in)
- To install, reinstall in reverse order of removal procedure.

Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
