Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION: Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
NOTE:
  • When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
  • Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without damaging the surface.
  • Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  1. Loosen the front bumper lower mounting clips.

  2. After loosening the clips and bolt on the side of front bumper assembly (A), detach the side part of front bumper assembly.
    CAUTION: When you pull out the front bumper assembly, the side part of the front bumper assembly could be damaged by the projection.

  3. Remove the front bumper assembly (A).

    NOTE: [Removal method of front bumper FR Auxiliary Lamp] 
    * Hold the inside part of the radiator grille and then remove the front bumper assembly (A) by pulling it in the direction of the arrow.

  4. Press the lock pin and separate the front bumper connectors (A).

  5. To install, reinstall in reverse order of removal procedure.

    Information 

    • Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
    • Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
