Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION:
Put on gloves to protect your hands.
Information
- Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without damaging the surface.
- Be careful not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Remove the rear door trim.
(Refer to Rear Door - "REAR DOOR TRIM ")
- Remove the rear door belt inside weather strip (A).
- After loosening the mounting screw, remove the rear door belt outside weatherstrip (A).
- After loosening the mounting screws, remove the rear door delta molding (A).
Tightening torque:
3.9 - 4.9 N.m (0.4 - 0.5 Kgf.m, 2.9 - 3.6 lb.ft, 34.7 - 43.4 lb.in)
- Unscrew the rear door channel mounting nuts and bolt loosely.
Tightening torque:
Nut: 3.9 - 5.9 N.m (0.4 - 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 - 4.3 lb.ft, 34.7 - 52.1 lb.in)
Bolt: 8.8 - 13.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.4 Kgf.m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb.ft)
- Remove the plug hole (A).
- Remove the rear door window glass (A) after loosening the mounting bolt.
Tightening torque:
7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 Kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb.ft)
CAUTION: Be careful not to drop the glass and/or scratch the glass surface.Information
- Use the door switch to align the mounting bolt in the door.
- If the window motor cannot be operated, remove the motor and align the hole by hand.
- To install, reinstall in reverse order of removal procedure.
Information
- Check that glass operation is normal.
- Check the damage glass channel, and replace if necessary.
- Adjust glass if necessary.
