Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION: Put on gloves to protect your hands.

Information 

  1. Remove the cap (A) and then loosen the screw (B).

    Tightening Torque:  4.9 - 5.9 N.m (0.4 - 0.5 kgf.m, 2.9 - 3.6 lb.ft, 34.7 - 43.4 lb.in)

  2. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the rear door delta inner cover (A).

  3. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the rear door trim (A).

    Tightening Torque:  4.9 - 5.9 N.m (0.4 - 0.5 kgf.m, 2.9 - 3.6 lb.ft, 34.7 - 43.4 lb.in)

  4. Remove the rear door inside handle cage (A).

    Information 

    Cage must be assembled until it makes clicks sound.

  5. Disconnect the connector (A).

  6. To install, reinstall in reverse order of removal procedure.

    Information 

    • Check that glass operation is normal.
    • Check the damage glass channel, and replace if necessary.
    • Adjust glass if necessary.
