Removal And Installation

NOTE:
  • When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver or use a prying trim tool, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
  • Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  1. Remove the rear seat back cover [LH].

    (Refer to Rear Seat - "REAR SEAT BACK COVER ")

  2. Disconnect the cable (A) and then remove the rear seat folding lever (B) after loosening the mounting screw.

  3. After loosening the mounting nuts, remove the rear seat latch (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    16.7 - 25.5 N.m (1.7 - 2.6 Kgf.m, 12.3 - 18.8 lb.ft)

  4. To install, reinstall in reverse order of removal procedure.

    (Refer to Rear Seat - "REAR SEAT BACK COVER ")

  2. Disconnect the cable (A) and then remove the rear seat folding lever (B) after loosening the mounting screw.

  3. After loosening the mounting nuts, remove the rear seat latch (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    16.7 - 25.5 N.m (1.7 - 2.6 Kgf.m, 12.3 - 18.8 lb.ft)

  4. To install, reinstall in reverse order of removal procedure.
