Removal And Installation

[Rear seat back assembly] 

  1. Remove the center seat belt (A) by pushing it with a thin, tapered metal shaft.

  2. Pull up the rear seat back assembly (A) by pulling the stand-up lever.

  3. Using a screwdriver or remover and remove the side cover (A).

  4. After loosening the mounting bolt, remove the rear seat back assembly (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    16.7 - 25.3 N.m (1.7 - 2.6 Kgf.m, 12.3 - 18.8 lb.ft)

    NOTE: Removal of rear seatback assembly
    1. Lift the rear seatback upward and then push it to door side.

    2. Remove the rear seatback by lifting it upward after pin of the rear seatback is moved to outside sufficiently.

  5. To install, reinstall in reverse order of removal procedure.
    NOTE: Installation of rear seatback
    1. Push the seat to outside while holding the center headrest stay.

    2. Insert into the bracket hole by rising hand holding the center headrest.

    3. Install the seat to the center hinge bracket while pulling the seat inward.

    4. Lift the RH seat and then install it while looking at the bracket.

      * The side hinge pin (A) should be fully inserted into the bracket.

      * When assembling side, the belt (A) should be positioned at the direction of driver's seat closer than the seat pin.

    5. Install the seat to the center hinge bracket while pushing it inward.

      * The center hinge pin should be fully inserted into the center hinge bracket.

[Rear seat cushion assembly] 

  1. Remove the luggage covering board (A).

  2. Remove from the grommets (A) mounted on the front of cushion and then pull the rear seat cushion upward.

  3. Loosen the mounting bolt, remove the rear seat cushion assembly (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    16.7 - 25.3 N.m (1.7 - 2.6 Kgf.m, 12.3 - 18.8 lb.ft)

  4. Disconnect the rear seat cushion extension connector (A). [Option specification]

  5. To install, reinstall in reverse order of removal procedure.
