Removal And Installation

  1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
  2. Remove the front bumper cover.

    (Refer to Body - "FRONT BUMPER COVER ")

  3. Disconnect the active air flap (AAF) control unit connector (A).

  4. Remove the radiator side air guard (A).

  5. Remove the active air flap (AAF) and duct assembly (A).

    Tightening Torque: 

    3.9 - 5.9 N.m (0.4 - 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 - 4.3 lb-ft)

  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
