Monitoring DTC Status

- Vehicle Parked & Ignition ON.
- Connect ScanTool and select "DTC Analysis" mode.
- Click "DTC Status" on the "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" menu bar to see DTC INFORMATION & INSPECTION .
- Confirm that "DTC Readiness Flag" indicates "COMPLETED". If not, drive the vehicle within conditions noted in the freeze frame data or enable conditions.
- Read "DTC Status" parameter.
- Is parameter displayed "Present Fault"
YES
- Besides C166300, check the internal/external factors which could interfere with DTC, sensor status, and radio signal (RF) in the vehicle.
- Check DTCs related with CAN or signal of vehicle (wheel) speed in the other system, such as ESC (ESP). If there are the DTCs, repair them and then confirm deletion.
- Check DTCs related with CAN or signal of forward/reverse in the other system, such as TCM (or PCM). If there are the DTCs, repair them and then confirm deletion.
- Recheck TPMS system, if C1663-00 is still active DTC, Go to Next procedure.
NO
- This fault was repaired and TPMS Module memory was not cleared. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
