Monitor ScanTool Data

  1. Connect GDS and select "Data Analysis" mode.
  2. Monitor data of TPMS Sensor parameter on the "Current Data".
  3. After driving at 25 km/h (15 mile/h) for approx. 10~20 minutes
  4. Check that current data is correctly displayed while driving.

    Measuring Method:  Refer to No. 1 Measurement

    Check a sensors value out of sensors information.

  5. Current data is normally displayed?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Besides C166300, check the internal/external factors which could interfere with DTC, sensor status, and radio signal (RF) in the vehicle.
    • Substitute with a known-good TPMS Sensor and check for proper operation.
    • If the problem is corrected, replace TPMS Sensor and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
    • After replacing with a known-good TPMS Sensor, you must do the 'Register Sensor' at the "Vehicle S/W Management" mode by using GDS and GDS TPMS. and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
    • Substitute with a known-good. BCM (TPMS Module Integrated) and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace TPMS Module and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
    • After replacing with a known-good. BCM (TPMS Module Integrated), you must do the 'Vehicle Name Writing', 'VIN Writing' and 'Register Sensor' at the "Vehicle S/W Management" mode by using GDS and GDS TPMS.
