Monitor ScanTool Data

  1. Set up 'GDS' with 'GDS TPMS'.
  2. Select "Vehicle S/W Management" function.
  3. Select the "Sensor Status" mode of "Data Treatment" part.
  4. Position the GDS TPMS as near as possible to the tire. (Fig 1)

    (Reading may take 30~60 seconds depending on the sensors characteristics.)

  5. Monitor the parameter of "Temperature" on the screen. (Fig 2)

    Specification:  "Temperature" is Less than 115°C (239°F)

  6. Is parameter within specifications?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Due to damaged tires, driving of lower pressure tires, and the excessive actuation of brake. these may cause a temporary fault code.
    • First check the pressure of tires and the status of tires, second repair tires or replace with known-good tires as necessary, finally go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
    • Substitute with a known-good TPMS Sensor and check for proper operation.
    • If the problem is corrected, replace Rear Right TPMS Sensor and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
    • After replacing with a known-good TPMS Sensor, you must do the 'Register Sensor' at the "Vehicle S/W Management" mode by using GDS and GDS TPMS. and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
