Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring the RF signals of the sensor
  1. Damaged tire
  2. Surrounding high temperature
  3. Driving with low pressure tire
  4. Excessive braking at driving
Enable Conditions
  • IG KEY ON
Threshold value
  • When TPMS sensor data is missing since 180 seconds of driving & last received temperature value is higher than or equal to 115°C (239°F)
Diagnostic Time
  • 180 seconds
Lamp
  • Lamp OFF
