DTC Status

  1. Plug GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Check for DTCs related to CAN communication between the Smart Key Unit (PIC IMMO Unit) and other units (module).
  3. If there is any DTC related to the unit (module), repair it first.
  4. Inspect and repair it and clear the DTC.
  5. Did the same DTC return?

    YES 

    • Thoroughly check CAN connectors of each module for improper mating, pin misplacement, loose pin terminal, or poor connection. Repair or replace the relevant component(s) as necessary
    • Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR 

    NO 

    • Go to next procedure.
