- Is the signal waveform normal?
YES
- Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor contact, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
→ Repair or replace relevant component as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
NO
- Inspect the communication circuit for a short.
→ Repair or replace relevant component as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
- Replace the PODS-G ECU or SRSCM with a new one and check for proper operation.
If the problem is corrected, replace the PODS-G ECU or SRSCM and then conduct 'Zero Re-Calibration of Occupant Classification Sensor.' Once the re-calibration is completed, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
- Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor contact, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
