Monitor DTC Status

  1. Plug GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Turn "ON" the ignition switch.
  3. Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)," and click "DTC Status" to check DTC information.
  4. Read the "DTC State" parameter.
  5. Is the DTC State "Present?"

    "PRESENT" 

    • Thoroughly check the cluster wire harness for poor contact, bending, corrosion, deterioration, or damage.
    • Replace the Cluster with an usable one. If the cluster works properly, replace the Cluster and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ". If the cluster does not work, replace the LKAS ECU and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
