Power Circuit Inspection

Power Circuit Short: Resistance Infinity (∞) 1. Ignition Switch: OFF
2. BATTERY (-) terminal. SJB*, External Tail Lamp Rear Left* connector: Disconnect
External Tail Lamp Rear Left*_Power ↔ Chassis Ground
  1. Is the resistance within specification?

    YES 

    • Check for an intermittent Open/Poor Contact caused by bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration of the harness/connector.

    NO 

    • Repair Short between the External Tail Lamp Rear Left* Power Circuit and Chassis Ground.
    NOTE: SJB*: "IGPM_IPS1 (4CH)"
    External Tail Lamp Front Left*: "REAR COMBINATION LAMP (IN) LH_TAIL LAMP" & "(OUT) LH_TAIL", "REAR VIEW CAMERA & TAIL GATE SWITCH_LICENSE LAMP LH & RH"
