Power Circuit Inspection

Item Normal Value Prerequisite Condition (+) Probe ↔ (-) Probe
Power Circuit Short: Resistance Infinity (∞) 1. Ignition Switch: OFF
2. BATTERY (-) terminal. SJB*, Internal Tail Lamp* connector: Disconnect
Internal Tail Lamp*_Power ↔ Chassis Ground
  1. Is the resistance within specification?

    YES 

    • Check for an intermittent Short-to-Ground caused by bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration of the harness/connector.

    NO 

    • Disconnect the component connector of Internal Tail Lamp* Circuit one by one.

      → If the normal value is measured when disconnect the connector, check for Short between the power terminal of the component and SJB*.

    NOTE: SJB*: "IGPM_IPS6 (2CH)"
    Internal Tail Lamp*: "Illuminations"
