Check Short-To-Battery

LIN Circuit Short: Voltage Below approx. 200mV
  1. Ignition Switch: ON
  2. BCM*, Rear Center Right Sensor* connector: Disconnect
Rear Center Right Sensor*_"LIN" <-> Chassis Ground
  1. Is the voltage within specification?

    YES 

    • Check for an intermittent Short-to-Battery caused by bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration of the harness/connector.
    • Check for foreign substance around the sensor, or the sensor rubber caught in between.

    NO 

    • Repair Short between the abnormal terminal/harness and Battery Power.
NOTE:

BCM*: "BCM"

Rear Center Right Sensor*: "REAR PARKING DISTANCE WARNING SENSOR RH (CENTER)"
