Monitor DTC Status

  1. Plug GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
  3. If there is any DTC, clear it.
  4. Turn the ignition switch OFF and back ON. Then, select "DTC Analysis".
  5. Did the DTC return?

    YES 

    • Wait for 1 hour (with the ignition ON) to re-enter the correct PIN/password if an incorrect one has been input more than 3 consecutive times.
    • When the Lock mode is lifted, check for the previously registered PIN code/password and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".

    NO 

    • Fault can be intermittent, caused by poor contact of connectors between the ICU's and the PCM/ECM's connectors. Or, the ICU memory was not cleared after repair. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor contact, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace relevant component as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
