  3. Is the Current Data normal?

    YES

    • Fault can be intermittent, caused by poor contact of connectors between the ICU's and the PCM/ECM's connectors. Or, the ICU memory was not cleared after repair.

Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor contact, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace relevant component as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".

    NO

    • Initialize the ICU or PCM/ECM and then register or modify the Password/Key. If the problem persists even after the registration, replace the ICU with an usable test sample or PCM/ECM. Check for proper operation, then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
    • In case of the ICU or PCM/ECM replacement, perform the 'Leanrt' process using the scantool.
