A transponder built in the Smart Key knob receives data regarding ignition when the ignition switch is ON and transmits its calculations of encryption wearilessly.

NOTE:
  1. A transponder does not require a separate battery. It functions using power generated inside the vehicle.
  2. A transponder is a built-in component inside the Smart Key, which makes it repeatable and irremovable.

The component can be semi-permanently if no shock or damage is done.
