Troubleshooting Condition Possible Cause

  • Monitor CAN messages
  1. Error in CAN communication or poor CAN connection between the CGW and SJB system
Prerequisite condition
  • Engine is on (Confirm that an engine operation signal is sent from EMS for over 2 sec.).
  • Battery Voltage is between 9V and 16V.
  • Ignition has been on for over 2 sec.
  • CAN Communication Lines are normal.
Threshold Value
  • SJB messages from the CGW are invalid.
Diagnosis Time
  • 0.5 sec.
MIL
  • FCA operation cancelled/inhibited
  • FCA warning lamp ON
