DTC Setting Condition

Troubleshooting Condition Possible Cause
Main action
  • Monitor the FCA module variant coding
  1. Error in specifications
  2. Error in vehicle assembly
  3. Specification setting was not conducted
Prerequisite condition
  • Engine is on (Confirm that an engine operation signal is sent from EMS for over 2 sec.).
  • Battery Voltage is between 9V and 16V.
  • Ignition has been on for over 2 sec.
  • CAN Communication Lines are normal.
Threshold Value
  • Variant coding is not completed or Variant coding does not correspond to vehicle data.

    Case 1) Specification setting is not conducted.

    Case 2) Error in the FCA specification or vehicle assembly.

    Case 3) Error in the AT/MT specifications.

Diagnosis Time
  • Case 1) & Case 2): At instant, Case 3): 6 sec.
MIL
  • FCA operation cancelled/inhibited
  • FCA warning lamp ON
