Monitor DTC Status

- Plug GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Turn "ON" the ignition switch.
- Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)," and click "DTC Status" to check DTC information.
- Read the "DTC State" parameter.
- Is the DTC State "Present?"
"PRESENT"
- If there is any DTC related to the engine status or acceleration pedal signal after monitoring the Engine ECM system, repair it first and see if DTC C1613-82 is cleared from the FCA module. Then go to next procedure.
"HISTORY"
- This can be an intermittent fault caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or control module's connector. Or, control module's memory was not cleared after repair. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, ending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
- Repair or replace the relevant component(s) as necessary, and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
