DTC Setting Condition

Troubleshooting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Monitor CAN messages
  1. Open/short in CAN Communication Line
  2. Faulty Rear Right Wheel Speed Sensor
  3. Faulty ESP (ESC) system
Prerequisite condition
  • Engine is on (Confirm that an engine operation signal is sent from EMS for over 2 sec.).
  • Battery Voltage is between 9V and 16V.
  • Ignition has been on for over 2 sec.
  • CAN Communication Lines are normal.
Threshold Value
  • An abnormal signal is received from Rear Right Wheel Speed Sensor.
Diagnosis Time
  • 0.5 sec.
MIL
  • FCA operation cancelled/inhibited
  • FCA Warning Lamp ON
