LKA-L (Lane Keeping Assistance-Line)

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2021 Hyundai Kona. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The LKA-L has a CAN line that is directly linked to the SCC besides a Chassis CAN line, which is called the Local CAN. The Local CAN line carries CAN signals administering operation of the FCA (Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist). This function is mainly controlled by the SCC, not the LKA-L, thus, a LKA-L warning lamp would not illuminate when an error occurs regarding the CAN signals. Still, the DTC will be stored.
