Check Generator Circuit

  1. Start engine.
  2. Maintain engine speed 2, 500 RPM for 2 minutes.
  3. Measure voltage between the battery terminal (+) and the battery terminal (-).

    Specification:  Approx. 12.5 ~ 14.7V

  4. Is the measured voltage within specification?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Check the tension of the drive belt. Check engine RPM, fuses, terminals of the battery, all terminals of the generator. Check for a damaged harness and poor connections between the generator and battery. If no problems are found repair or replace the generator. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
