Main Action
  • Plausibility check during lambda set point shift to rich (after DTC P2096-00 detection)
  1. Poor connection or harness damage
  2. Rear HO2S
Prerequisite Condition
  • No fuel cut-off is functioning
  • No full load phase with accelerator pedal value below 90%
  • No catalyst overheat is prevented
  • Battery voltage is between 11V and 16V.
Threshold value
  • Downstream HO2S signal voltage is under 0.75V when lambda set point equals to 0.8.
Diagnosis Time
  • 7 seconds after lambda set point shift to corresponding side
MIL-On Condition
  • 3rd Driving Cycle
