  • Monitoring deviation of long term fuel trim control in part load
  1. Air leakage in intake, exhaust or EVAP system

Prerequisite Condition
  • Engine coolant temperature is higher than 73° (163.4 °F).
  • Part Load Lambda adaptation active conditions:
    • Engine speed is between 1, 150 and 4, 000 RPM.
    • Mass Fuel Flow is between 0.010g/rev. and 0.066g/rev.
  • Estimated low fuel dilution in oil (only for too rich system)
Threshold Value
  • Long term partial load Fuel Trim reaches maximum limitation for 20 seconds or longer within 90 seconds. (Maximum limitation is 25 %).
Diagnostic Time
  • 90 Seconds
MIL-On Condition
  • 3rd Driving Cycle
