  1. Air leakage in intake, exhaust or EVAP system

Prerequisite Condition
  • Engine coolant temperature is higher than 73°C (163.4°F).
  • Idle Lambda adaptation is active with conditions below
    • Engine speed is lower than 900 RPM.
    • Mass Fuel Flow is lower than 0.032g/rev.
  • Estimated low fuel dilution in oil (only for too rich system)
Threshold Value
  • Long term fuel trim at idle has reached Max. limitation for more than 20 seconds within 90 seconds (Max. limitation is 0.008 g/rev).
Diagnostic Time
  • 90 Seconds
MIL-On Condition
  • 2nd Driving Cycle
