DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

  • Port flap stuck open
  1. Open/short in control circuit
  2. Open/short in position sensor circuit
  3. Poor connection or harness damage
  4. VCM (Variable Charge Motion)
Prerequisite Condition
  • Battery voltage is between 10V and 16V
  • Port Flap duty is controlled within 2%.
  • Elapsed time after Port Flap duty controlled within upper threshold is longer than 0.5 seconds.
Threshold Value
  • Absolute value of Port flap gradient movement is greater than 45 °PORT/s.
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.2 Seconds
MIL-On Condition
  • 3rd Driving Cycle
