DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

  • Electrical Check
  1. Open/short in VCM position sensor circuit
  2. Poor connection or harness damage
  3. VCM (Variable Charge Motion) position sensor
Prerequisite Condition
  • Battery voltage is between 10V and 16V
  • Ignition switch is turned "ON".
Threshold Value
  • The signal voltage of port flap feedback is greater than 4.75V.
  • Sensor signal circuit is open or shorted to battery power.
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.12 Seconds
MIL-On Condition
  • 3rd Driving Cycle
