DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Case 1 Prerequisite Condition
  • Elapsed time after ignition "ON" is longer than 0.1 second.
  • Engine speed is 0 RPM.
  • No main relay error occurred
  1. Shorted to battery power in harness
  2. Poor connection or harness damage
Threshold Value
  • Electrical load for Generator is less than 15%
Diagnosis Time
  • 1 Second
Case 2 Prerequisite Condition
  • Engine speed is higher than 0 RPM.
  • No relevant failure is shown.
  • Battery voltage is lower than 16V
  • Engine speed is between 600 RPM and 4000 RPM
  • Engine coolant temperature is higher than 73° (140°F).
Threshold Value
  • Generator load is less than 2%.
Diagnosis Time
  • 20 Seconds
MIL On Condition
  • No MIL ON (DTC only)
