DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

  • Monitor deviation between actual and target engine speed at idle
  1. Restriction in intake or exhaust system
  2. Contact resistance in connectors
  3. Faulty ETC
Prerequisite Condition
  • Coolant temperature is higher than 74° (165.2°F)
  • Elapsed time after starting engine is longer than 5 seconds.

    (Accelerator pedal value is 0 % and vehicle speed is 0 Km/h)

  • Battery voltage is between 11V and 16V.
Threshold Value
  • Target engine speed is over 100 RPM higher than actual speed

    (Engine RPM is too low).

  • 17 Seconds
