Case 1 Prerequisite Condition
  • Vehicle speed is slower than 22Mile/h (35.4Km/h).
  • Vehicle speed gradient during 20 seconds is lower than 1.8%.
  • Elapsed time after engine start is longer than 300 seconds.
  • Battery voltage is between 11V and 16V.
Threshold Value
  • Absolute value of difference between filtered fuel level and raw fuel level is greater than 45%.
Diagnostic Time
  • 50 Steps (for 5 seconds, 100 counts)
Case 2 Prerequisite Condition
  • Evaporative system leakage monitoring status
    • for waiting period or leakage check period
Threshold value
  • Absolute value of difference between filtered fuel level and raw fuel level is greater than 12% to 14%.
Diagnosis Time
  • 25 Steps (for 2.5 seconds, 100 counts)
MIL-On Condition
  • 3rd Driving Cycle
