Test Condition For Checking Clogging Of Vapor Line

  1. Remove service hall cover for Canister underneath rear seat or trunk luggage floor (Fig. 1)
  2. Remove Vapor line coupler.
  3. Connect GDS and select "PCSV" parameter on current data.
  4. Start the engine.
  5. Check for vacuum or no vacuum through the coupler of vapor line in accordance with PCSV operating condition.
    • Check the amount of vacuum, by hand, through the PCSV when PCSV is ON (Open)
  6. is the vacuum condition at the port normal?

    YES 

    • Generation of vacuum and no vacuum is smooth in accordance with PCSV operation Full amount of vacuum flow during PCSV Open.
