Check Evaporative Emission System For Leakage

  1. Ignition switch is turned "OFF".
  2. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  3. Ignition switch is turned "On" and start the engine (at idle).
  4. Select and press "EVAP.LEAKAGE TEST" mode in the GDS.
  5. Is the measured voltage within specification?

    YES 

    • Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, ending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
