DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

  • Sensor signal check - stuck in range
  1. Poor connection or harness damage
  2. Faulty FTPS
  3. Faulty PCSV
  4. Fuel Cap missing
Prerequisite Condition
  • Vehicle speed is faster than 31Mile/h (50Km/h).
  • Canister Purge Flow is less than 0.42 g/sec.
  • Canister load is less than 0.5.
  • Ambient Air Temperature (AAT) Model is higher than -10° (50°F).
  • Fuel level in the tank is lower than 85%.
Threshold Value
  • Signal variation of fuel tank pressure during opening/closing phase of canister purge solenoid is lower than 30mV.
Diagnostic Time
  • 30 Seconds
Case 2 Main Action
  • Sensor signal check - signal high 1
Prerequisite Condition
  • Canister purge flow is greater than 0.42 g/sec.
  • Canister load is less than 0.5.
  • AAT Model is higher than -10° (50°F).
  • ECT is greater than 50 ° (122 °F).
  • Fuel level in the tank is lower than 85%.
  • Time in case of refueling is elapsed longer than 200 seconds.
Threshold value
  • Fuel tank pressure is greater than 400 Pa.
Diagnosis Time
  • 30 Seconds
Case 3 Main Action
  • Sensor signal check - signal high 2
Prerequisite Condition
  • AAT Model is higher than -10° (50°F).
  • ECT is higher than 50 ° (122 °F).
  • Fuel level in fuel tank is lower than 85%.
  • Canister purge valve is closed.
  • Time in case of refueling is elapsed longer than 200 seconds.
Threshold value
  • Fuel tank pressure is greater than 1, 500 Pa.
Diagnosis Time
  • 30 Seconds
Case 4 Main Action
  • Sensor signal check - signal low
Prerequisite Condition
  • AAT Model is higher than -10° (50°F).
  • ECT is higher than 50 ° (122 °F).
  • Fuel level in fuel tank is lower than 85%.
  • Canister purge valve is closed.
Threshold value
  • Fuel tank pressure is greater than -3, 500 Pa and lower than -1, 100 Pa.
