  1. Open or short circuit in signal, ground or power supply circuit
  2. Poor connection or harness damage
  3. Damage to the connecting flange/flywheel
  4. Faulty CKP sensor

  • Camshaft signal valid
Threshold Value Case 1
  • Number of engine cycles with missing crankshaft position signal is higher than 2.
Case 2
  • Crankshaft position sensor circuit is open or shorted
Diagnostic Time Case 1
  • 4 Revolutions

  • 1.27 Seconds
