DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Item  Detecting Condition  Possible Cause 
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical Check
  1. Open or short to battery power in control harness.
  2. Poor connection or damaged harness
  3. Faulty injector
Prerequisite Condition
  • Battery voltage is between 10V and 16V.
  • Engine speed is between 320 RPM and 6016 RPM.
  • Elapsed time after fuel cut-off is longer than 0.3 seconds.
  • Individual main pulse of injection time is longer than 0.3 msec.
Threshold Value
  • Injector control circuit is shorted to battery power.
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously
MIL-On Condition
  • 3rd Driving Cycle
