  • Voltage range check
  1. Open in power supply or signal harness
  2. Short to ground in power supply or signal harness
  3. Poor connection or harness damage
  4. Faulty TPS 1
Prerequisite Condition
  • Ignition key is turned "ON"
Threshold Value
  • TPS 1 voltage is lower than 0.12V.
  • Sensor signal circuit is shorted to ground
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously
