Component Inspection

Connect GDS and select "DTC Analysis" mode
Warm up the engine.
Monitor the parameters related to DTC on the "Current Data" menu of the GDS Below while press and depress gas pedal.

Is parameter displayed within specifications?
YES
- Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Substitute with a known-good MAP Sensor and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace MAP Sensor and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
