Check Fuel Pressure Sensor Performance

- Turn the ignition switch "OFF".
- Start the engine.
- Measure the voltage between signal terminal of fuel pressure sensor harness connector and ground.
Specification: Approx. 1.9 ~ 3.2V (in idle)
- Is the measured voltage normal?
YES
- Visually check contamination by foreign material at fuel pressure sensor and Clear DTC and Test-Drive under the Prerequisite Conditions. After the road test, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
NO
- Replace the Fuel Pressure Sensor with an usable one and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, Replace the FUEL TANK PRESSURE SENSOR (FTPS) - 1.6L and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
