Check Fuel Pressure Sensor Performance

  1. Turn the Ignition Switch "OFF".
  2. Start the Engine.
  3. Measure the voltage between signal terminal of fuel pressure sensor harness connector and ground.

    Specification:  Approx. 1.9 ~ 3.2V (in Idle)

  4. Is the measured voltage normal?

    YES 

    • Visually check contamination by foreign material at fuel pressure sensor and Clear DTC and Test-Drive under the Prerequisite Conditions. After the road test, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".

    NO 

    • Replace the FTPS with an usable one and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace the Fuel Pressure Sensor and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
