Monitor GDS Data

  1. Connect a GDS to DLC (Data Link Cable).
  2. Start the engine and warm it up to the normal operation temperature.
  3. Check the parts related to an APS (Accelerator Position Sensor) 1 and 2 on "Current Data" using the GDS.
  4. Does the actuation work properly? Is the sensor output normal?

    YES 

    • Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, ending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".

    NO 

    • Go to next procedure.
