Check Fuel Pump Performance

- Turn the ignition switch "OFF".
- Disconnect fuel pump.
- Check for motor operating state by connecting battery power to fuel pump control (+) terminal and ground to fuel pump control (-) terminal. (Component side)
- Is the measured normal?
YES
- Replace the Fuel Filter with an usable one and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace the Fuel Filter and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
- If problem is not fixed with replacing Fuel Filter, Replace the FPCM with an usable one and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace the FPCM and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
NO
- Replace the Fuel Pump with an usable one and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace the Fuel Pump and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
