Troubleshooting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Monitor idle speed
  1. Intake system for blockage
  2. Throttle plate for carbon deposits
Prerequisite Condition
  • Vehicle speed = 0 mph
  • Coolant temperature at start is between 6°C (42.8°F) and 30°C (86°F)
  • Intake air temperature is higher than 6°C (42.8°F)
  • Engine is running (idle)
  • Cold Start Catalyst Light Off active

Value		 Case 1
  • Desired engine speed is over 100 RPM greater than actual engine speed or Actual Idle torque is 10Nm higher than Idle torque
Case 2
  • Desired engine speed is over 200 RPM lower than actual engine speed or Actual Idle torque is 20Nm lower than Idle torque
Case 3
  • Fuel cut-off is higher than 3 times
