Check E-WGA

- Turn the ignition switch "OFF". Connect a GDS and oscilloscope.
- Connect CH A, B probe to (+), (-) control terminal of EWGA connector.
- Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.
- Measure signal waveform of EWGA control together by actuating the throttle.
Specification: Refer to SIGNAL WAVEFORM & DATA
- Is the measured resistance within specification?
YES
- Replace the ECM with an usable one and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace the ECM and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
NO
- Replace the E-WGA with an usable one and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace the E-WGA and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
