Monitor DTC Status

  1. Plug GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Turn "ON" the ignition switch.
  3. Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)," and click "DTC Status" to check DTC information.
  4. Read the "DTC State" parameter.
  5. Record all DTCs, DTC state and freeze frame data before clearing them. Is the DTC State "Present?"

    YES 

    • Check the parts on "Current Data" related to the ambient temperature sensor using the GDS. (the A/C system, engine system)

      Read DTCs detected by the GDS. If there is any DTC related to the ambient temperature sensor, repair the A/C system first.
